Peer-to- peer coaches

Trinity Doctor

I am from Summerville, SC. However, I spent most of my childhood years playing with my cousins in Ridgeville, SC. Currently, I am a dedicated junior studying personal financial management at Charleston Southern University. My second passion is health and fitness. I indulge in this passion by eating healthy, creating YouTube videos, and strength training. Since my freshman year, spring of 2022, I have been an essential part of The Center for Personal Financial Management. This semester marks my fifth consecutive period of being a peer-to-peer coach. Connecting with my clients is what I appreciate the most about being a peer-to-peer coach. Many of us share a common financial background having lacked the proper guidance in efficiently managing our finances. I believe that my clients find it alleviating to know that they are not alone. I am here to support and help them to the best of my capabilities to navigate them through personal finance.

Hailey Stanley

I’m a junior majoring in personal finance. I’m from Coward, South Carolina. I have a passion for reading and practicing yoga in my free time. As a peer coach, I’m driven by a genuine concern for others and a strong desire to provide them with the necessary financial education. Being a peer coach not only allows me to make a positive impact on people’s lives but also provides me with valuable experiences.

Joseph Kuckel

I am from the Greenville/Spartanburg area of SC. I am a senior here at CSU and my area of study is Personal Financial Management. I enjoy sports, video games, and coffee amongst other things. My favorite thing about being a peer coach is the opportunity to educate others and educate myself.

Jadyn Watson

I’m from Nichols, SC.  I am currently in my senior year and pursuing a major in personal financial management. In my free time, I enjoy painting and reading.  I love being a peer coach because I find fulfillment in guiding students to the solutions to their questions. What makes being a peer coach particularly rewarding for me is the opportunity I have to integrate my faith into our conversations and build connections.

Maddie Gainey

I am from a very small town called Hartsville, South Carolina; and I am currently a junior pursuing a double major in Accounting and Personal Financial Management. My decision to become a peer-to-peer coach stems from a genuine desire to alleviate financial stress among students. Recognizing the challenges and stress that finances can pose, I am dedicated to educating my peers, so they feel better prepared to make biblically sound financial decisions. Beyond academics, I enjoy listening to country music and playing the guitar!

CSU’s Center for Personal Financial Management is affiliated with the Ron Blue Institute because of its mission to advance biblical financial education.
